At Whitemeadow we have a simple approach that involves utilising the best available technology alongside passionate individuals to create truly inspiring British made upholstery. We're proud of this and continue to raise the bar in all aspects of upholstery manufacturing, with a continued focus on providing premium quality, British made upholstery and an unrivalled service to our customer base. The Whitemeadow story began in the early 1990's from a site we still manufacture from in Nottinghamshire and whilst our footprint has grown considerably we are particularly proud that all of our products remain hand crafted in our workshops at a great central location at junction 28 of the M1.

Being one of Britain's leading manufacturers, we're passionate about the future of our industry and recognise the numerous challenges our industry faces. The Furniture Makers' Company is the furnishing industry's charity. Their mission is to provide leadership to the industry and a framework of support which nurtures talent through education, helps those in financial need, and promotes excellence.

Fabric is the heartbeat of great design which is why wehave a dedicated team devoted to getting it right. Through initial market research, design and sampling right through to colour development and performance testing we recognise the importance of great fabric. Texture and colour are often the difference attributed to the success of some projects and with that in mind we leave no stone unturned. We continually update our knowledge through visits to some of the world's leading Expo's in interiors, furniture and fabrics.

Our Design and Development department is the foundation of our company. Beginning with just 1 designer in the 1990's our growth has seen the development department expand to a 15 strong team committed to creating innovative new designs for sofas and beds. By keeping abreast of emerging trends in both shape and texture we are able to present inspiring new collections driven by our own seasonal launches or by working to the design briefs and timetables of our clients. We know that to ensure Whitemeadow stays at the forefront of the industry we need to continually bring fresh new designs to the market and to that end we encourage a working climate for inspiration.
