We are a local family run firm of professional electricians, offering a full range of electrical servicesin the Manchester area. These range from small repair and maintenance through to installing power in gardens and out buildings and complete house rewires. We have a small team of Jonathan, Bill, Matt, and Rachel who is into her second year of apprenticeship. We are pleased to take on jobs of all kinds.
We currently employ three electricians and an apprentice. Our electricians hold certificates for the City and Guilds 2381/2 qualification which requires them to have a strong understanding of the current (18th) edition of the the IEE Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) whilst performing them to a high standard. Our electricians also hold certificates for the City of Guilds 2391 qualification which allows them to carry out electrical inspections and testing.
We are pleased to be an approved contractor of the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NIC EIC) for over 50 years. The building regulations now require electricians who carry out repair, maintenance and installation work on residential property to hold a current Domestic Installers Certificate. The City & Guilds 2381/2 is the requirements for Electrical Installations is the standard that all electricians must meet. The assessment is based on the current edition of the building regulations, currently the 17th edition.
