We've been designing and making ceramic tiles since 1901, proudly staying true to Johnson Tiles' roots in the Potteries' heartland of Stoke-on-Trent. To strengthen our portfolio of sustainable, British-made products, our design team travels the world sourcing complementary collections of porcelain and ceramic floor and wall tiles. Our comprehensive range has been used for interior design projects in homes, schools, universities, hotels, hospitals, commercial developments and leisure facilities across the world.

Johnson Tiles is known for high quality products and first class service. Our track record in committing to making positive change happen has helped us to uphold this reputation. We're constantly making and setting the industry standards for health and safety, quality assurance and environmental improvement ahead of time. In 1998, we were the first ceramics company in the white wares sector to achieve ISO 14001 status for our environmental management system. This has since been upgraded to meet the latest 1SO 14001: 2015 requirements.

As the UK's only large-scale tile manufacturer, we have a distinct advantage when it comes to servicing our market's needs - sustainably. No air miles inherently means a smaller carbon footprint. But, in the 20+ years we've been building our sustainability story, there's a whole lot more to tell you about our journey. Our pioneering waste reduction scheme contributes to this, salvaging 12,000 tonnes of reusable material annually. Our most recent advancement makes us the first tile company to eliminate single-use plastics from our packaging.

Our design and development team are driven by a passion to create. For us, inspiration is everywhere. We travel to the far corners of the world to seek out new ideas and materials, inspired by everything from ancient Middle Eastern architecture to the tones and colours of nature itself. We also visit glaze and frit suppliers to discover new advances in glaze and print developments before they become mainstream. With our considerable expertise and knowledge, we transform what captures our imagination into truly unique tiles and products.
