CGS continue to support our customers by carrying out work during this difficult period. Our team has been fully trained in the use of appropriate PPE and will take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of those on-site. CGS specialise in local double glazing repairs and replacing misted double glazing. We're able to do this without removing the window frame, helping our customers in Burnley, Preston and throughout Lancashire save hundreds of pounds. Based in Burnley and Preston, CGS operate throughout the North West and are trusted installers of high-quality uPVC windows, including casement, bay and sash windows from REHAU and VEKA, the UK's leading PVC extrusion companies.

CGS (Glazing) Ltd is a family-run glazing, uPVC and composite door installation company with locations in Burnley and Preston. Operating throughout the North West, we install only premium quality uPVC frames, energy-efficient A-rated glass and certified secure composite doors. Nick Emmott has worked in the glazing industry since the early '90s and began operating as a sole trader under the CGS name in 1996. During this period CGS was the only company in the area specialising in misted window repair, where we would replace misty windows that have condensation in between the glass panels.

Condensation inside double glazing is a common problem and the only viable solution is replacement double glazed units, where a new sealed unit is installed in your existing frame. Condensation in double glazing not only looks unsightly but the thermal and noise reducing properties of the blown windows is compromised. The only effective way to resolve this is double glazing panel replacement. While many companies will replace the whole window, frame and all, this isn't necessary. CGS will replace just the blown double glazing unit, retaining the existing uPVC, aluminium or timber frame and potentially saving you hundreds of pounds.

CGS entered the composite door market in 2011 and are now one of the North West's leading installers of high quality GRP, uPVC and timber core composite door products. Make the best first impression with a high quality composite front door or entrance door. Composite front doors are available in a wide range of designs and finishes, allowing you to customise your door to reflect your personality and suit the rest of your home. Unlike uPVC doors which are constructed almost entirely from plastic, composite doors are made from several different materials pressed and glued together under high pressure conditions.

CGS Glazing are able to carry out a range of repairs to your property, from uPVC door lock or handle replacement through to full conservatory renovation. Repairs are often a more cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative to complete replacement of damaged uPVC units. This list is not exhaustive so please do get in touch if there's something you require that's not listed. CGS can bring your existing conservatory back to life by carrying out a full refurbishment, replacing the polycarbonate roof panels and installing energy-efficient, self-cleaning glass.

Fabulous job guys, highly recommend these 100% professionals

CSG replaced a patio door glass 8 years ago and have just replaced the other side of the door for little more cost than 8 years ago. Kept me well informed of when the work could be done and did an excellent job. Very pleasant people and would highly recommend.

Replaced a window in my shop. Came and measured same day. Kept in contact regarding glass being made as it was being made in Newcastle. Came to put it in and did an excellent job. Highly recommended.
