Here at DPM we have only one vision, to be Ipswich's one solution to bespoke mechanical and electrical services. Inspiring the next generation of engineers and providing a professional and efficient service since 1986. The upgrade was designed, and the work carried out by Ipswich engineering specialists DPM Mechanical and Electrical. As close neighbours to PIX Europe, in Ipswich, DPM worked closely with PIX to redesign and modernise all the drives in the mill, including the bed stones and sack hoist.

DPM is a privately-owned business, defined as a quality mechanical and electrical engineering company based in Suffolk, renowned for its high-quality work and fast reliable service. The Directors are fully qualified engineers and are completely 'hands-on'. Our workforce is directly employed and all personnel fully trained in the various disciplines they undertake. We have a balanced cross section of skills and as a group we have built a team whose dedication and vision simply sets us aside from others.

In summary; our capabilities include industrial and domestic installation work, machine testing, welding, control systems and software. Since our early days we have always undertaken a wide range of design projects (for example; industrial presses, waste recycling plants). Our approach is to partner with the end user to share their vision to create a complete solution. Once the concept is agreed and design approved, we can if required move a project forward to the engineering stages, finishing with install and sign off.
