We have been an independent timber merchant since 1969, delivering material to UK based builders, construction companies, builders merchants, DIY outlets and timber suppliers, with wide variety of the premium quality timber, whether sawn or moulded, standard or bespoke timber products, or our premium softwood door casings and frames. Our goal is to ensure that we only supply our customers with the highest quality timber. As specialists in timber machining and timber coatings, we are able to offer a wide range of bespoke services, allowing us to design and produce any quantity of timber to best suit your requirements.

Our PAR (Planed All Round) & Mouldings are manufactured from high quality redwood, sourced from well-managedsustainable forests. Unsorted and Fifthsgrades are predominately used for products in highly visible applications and are available in a wide range of thicknesses, widths and lengths. To complement our stock profiles we also offer a bespoke / profile matching service, just send a drawing or pattern and we'll do the rest. Modern production techniques offer precision sized products that work with other materials.

Mike England Timber are Factory Approved Coaters of market leaders Sikkens and Mighton Anker Stuy products. We work alongside and are audited by the Sikkens Industrial Coatings team to ensure the highest standards are maintained with accurate film build measurement and product consistency. Our in-house facility comprises of the latest sanding, texturing, vacuum coating and brush coating machines. We can supply either an internal or external coating system tailored to suit your requirements, whether semi-finished with one to two coats for finishing after installation or fully finished and sealed with additional coats, providing excellent resistance to all weather conditions.

We offer cladding in WRC No.2 Clear & Better with PEFC certification. WRC is naturally resistant to decay and insect attack and has a class 2 durability rating giving a service life of approximately 60 years untreated. When left untreated and exposed to sunlight and UV degradation, cedar will bleach to a silver-grey colour. Other properties include a low shrinkage factor which minimises any potential warping, twisting & checking making the finished product extremely stable. WRC offers superior acoustic qualities to assist with noise reduction, its low density and high proportion of air space makes it a natural thermal insulator far superior to other building materials such as brick, concrete and steel.
