Recycling facilities are now available where you can deposit your old electrical products. This is a requirement under UK and European legislation (The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment - or WEEE - Directive). The aim of the legislation is to: Make good use of the materials that make up old electrical equipment by recycling them rather than disposing them in landfill and prevent the negative environmental effects of sending often hazardous electrical equipment to landfill. You can also bring any unwanted electrical item into your nearest TEFAL Home and Cook Store for free recycling, even if you haven't bought it from us.
Bought the new Actifry Express to replace a broken older Actifry-it's been the worst thing we ever spent good money on! Express implies that the food will be cooked faster.nope it took a good 10 mins longer to do the same amount of chips! Plus they all came out soggy and all clumped together. Complained here and all they would do is give a discount on a new one! This one has been barely used as it's so rubbish! This afternoon I put chips on for the first time in months and now the bloody thing doesn't even get hot! Not impressed! Do not waste your money! It's rubbish.just sent hubby out to the chip shop so the rest of our meal won't go to waste!
I purchased a set of Ingenio pans and the handles get so hot that I have to use a cloth to pick them up. On Friday I forgot and got a burn that blistered. Tefal's response was "you're not suppose to leave the handles on", so you have to clip and unclip the handles whilst the pan is full of boiling water! How incredibly dangerous!
Can anyone tell me with the Teflon actifry 2-1 does the bottom tray go round when you are also cooking with the top. As several times now the top basket is cooked and the bottom is not cooked at all
