Insulated roller shutter doors offer a viable alternative to the insulated sectional overhead door. They provide insulation whilst retaining the standard roller shutter drive system, which is easy to install and maintain. The insulated roller shutter door coils up neatly above the opening, and does not encroach or cover the roof area behind the door, whereas a sectional over head door usually requires connection to the overhead roof structure. Installation is speedy due to the simple design of a roller shutter and keeps maintenance costs low and any repairs to the door curtain are normally less expensive as the curtain is built up from individual lath.
