Welcome to the website of Lindsay Burns & Company Auctioneers & Valuers, a family run firm for over 35 years. We hold regular General Sales and quarterly Antique & Fine Art Sales from our King Street saleroom in the City of Perth. Our professional valuation services and are widely used by both Private and Fiduciary clients.

Lindsay Burns & Company is a family run form of Auctioneers and Valuers with over 50 years of knowledge, expertise and experience in handling the sale of Antiques, Fine Art, Collectables and General Chattels. Founded in 1982 by Lindsay and Elspeth Burns the company is now owned and run by their son Nick and his wife Claire Burns. Our saleroom and offices are located at 6 King Street in the City of Perth. Our premises, a former Church, date to the second quarter of the 19th century and are ideally suited to exhibiting items, with a large open floor space and secure display cabinets.

We have a good reputation for selling antique and later carpets and rugs. Antique pieces are always sought after and our live bidding platform ensures that we can maximize the value of your lot. Later pieces are also in demand with buyers looking to add decorative touches to their home.

We handle a wide range of furniture throughout our sales covering many historical periods, from The William & Mary Period of the late 17th century, to 18th century Georgian pieces, to 19th century Regency, Victorian and Edwardian Periods, encompassing reproduction and more modern pieces.

Lindsay Burns & Company provides a complete House Clearance Service. This includes valuation, inventory, removal of valuable lots to auction, clearnace and disposal of unsaleable items, storage and distribution of items to beneficiaries where applicable. Clearances are undertaken in a discreet and professional manner and properties are left in a clean and tidy state. We have the correct licences in place and will provide boxes, packaging and other specific materials as part of the service. We have our own transport which is a MaxiMover custom built low loader luton van which enables us to arrange the uplift of items at your convenience.

Lindsay Burns & Company is experienced at undertaking removals and will provide all relevant packing and other specific materials. We are also able to provide short and long term storage solutions for clients property. This is a bespoke service tailored to meet your requirements and often applies to larger estates and executries.
