We are specialists in the design and supply of Victorian floor tiles and contemporary geometric schemes. Our tile designs encompass the Georgian, Victorian, and Edwardian periods, including a range of contemporary patterns. We have made it simple to enhance your home with beautiful Victorian hall floor tiles, traditional Victorian black and white path tiles, and a myriad of stunning Victorian mosaic tile schemes. The large range of high quality ceramic tiles we stock, meet and exceed all EU standards, are suitable for interior and exterior use, and at a thickness of 9mm, are not only decorative but robust.

In our standard range of matt ceramic mosaic tiles there are a selection of smaller and thinner tiles available. These are available as factory produced mesh backed sheets or as loose tiles. We can source and supply a high quality range of marble tesserae, hand cut and sawn to size from sections of larger material. Available as loose pieces or assembled onto sheets in our workshop ready for installation.

Beyond our standard range of geometric pre moulded tiles, London Mosaic offer a bespoke cutting service in order to create required shapes. These may be required for a restoration, a reproduction design that features an unusual shape or a more contemporary design. We employ traditional and modern cutting techniques in order to create such custom shapes. Our standard range consists predominately of squares, triangles, rectangles and other basic polygons all of which are commonly used within tessellating geometric floor schemes.

We supply reproduction daisy grates, in a variety of sizes, as ideal replacements for the rusting old originals. Commonly found beneath the step in the porch area, these grates provide ventilation into the cellar. Manufactured in aluminium with a countersunk hole in each corner, and finished in black satin matt paint. We can supply impregnating sealants to protect your ceramic tiles from water penetration and staining. Also, tile restoring and cleaning products for aftercare and maintenance. We can supply the adhesive and grout necessary for your tiling.

We work closely with many fitters that use our services, in particular the sheeted system. Our sheeted mosaic tile system is designed for all qualified tilers. We pride ourselves on working with and assisting companies that wish to use our system. If you do not have a tiler then we are happy to refer you to one from our list of contacts, based on your specific requirements or location. We offer anyone that chooses to employ our system and design service, full support in order that a high quality end result is achieved.

There are 32 colours in our range encompassing traditional and contemporary shades. Colours will vary very slightly between factory production runs but remain very consistent. Apart from a very subtle difference in size and colour, this range is the closest available to the original system of ceramic dust pressed pre-moulded Victorian tiles. Colours may differ between screens and as such no guarantees can be made regarding exact colour matches. We can provide samples for you to inspect the colour and quality of our tiles.

Our range of imperial sized matt ceramic tiles are specially manufactured and hand cut to order by an English pottery. The tiles are 11mm thick with straight edges and have a solid colour throughout. This range is ideal for projects where an existing period design needs repair or extending. Custom moulds can also be created for a perfect match of an encaustic tile pattern. The selection of encaustic tiles shown on this page are made to order in any combination of the colours listed below.

We offer several ranges of large format ceramic tiles in a variety of sizes. They are ideal for bigger spaces, such as garden landscaping or home extensions, where the hard wearing quality of ceramic is required, but with a lower cost per square metre when compared with our Victorian geometric range. The ranges we supply are Granitogres Unicolore (Casalgrande Padana) and Extend (Cifre Ceramica). A selection of 16 colours from classic porcelain shades through more modern pastel and vibrant tones, with a matt or polished finish.

This is a tailored service, where all the sheeted components are created using a full layout diagram. We rstly map the chosen design to t the space and provide a layout diagram for your approval. The eld will be composed of largely standard sheets to populate the area but the edges of the eld are formed with bespoke shapes. This ensures the eld is exact and features no loose tiles. All sheets are marked either numerically or alphabetically and the corresponding diagram is provided showing the exact layout and key information such as symmetrical mid-points and centre lines.

Our restoration services provide tried and tested solutions for the preservation of period geometric and mosaic flooring. Damage to such floors is rectified sensitively in order to stabilise and enhance these fine mosaic schemes whilst the cleaning and sealing process refreshes and reinvigorates these wonderful historic designs. Our experience in repairing ceramic geometric schemes within the London area spans almost two decades. We have at our disposal a collection of salvaged material along with a palette of over 30 shades of modern ceramic which is ideal for providing replacement material.
