Located in Halifax, West Yorkshire we operate from our purpose built premises containing a joinery facility specialising in the production and manufacture of bespoke products. Our reputation to deliver a quality project on time and within an agreed budget has been paramount in establishing the high percentage of repeat business we procure through partnerships and negotiation.
D D Porter Ltd was formed in 1963 by the late father of the current managing director Richard Porter who took over the reins of the business in 1985. The company has grown steadily into a multi disciplined building company working for a number of blue chip clients with a turnover currently of £23,000,000 (2014). The original ethos of quality delivered competitively to satisfied clients has been developed over the years and remains forefront in the company work ethic.
D D Porter Ltd are a traditional building company employing numerous of our own apprentice trained operatives. Our ability to integrate this division with the others in our operation results in our ability to offer our clients the full solution to their building requirements. The service we offer to our clients covers the full spectrum of construction on a traditional, design & build or full turnkey basis. We offer this service throughout the UK and Ireland in value up to £3m. We are firmly established within the health care and public authority sectors but have recently highlighted the need to diversify our business without affecting the core sectors within which we have historically undertaken work.
We operate a fully functioning joinery workshop specialising in the manufacture of quality bespoke products. This in house facility enables D D Porter to continually monitor the quality we offer and guarantee delivery to suit our site requirements. In addition to supplying our own sites we also manufacture and install works on a subcontract basis for other clients. Our works focus mainly on the medical fit out sector and hence we have a wealth of experience in this field. The products we produce fully comply with HTM requirements.
