When taking on a project such as a new kitchen, there is obviously going to be some disruption to your home. This can be major or minimal depending on the size of the project that you are undertaking. We offer a complete project management service which makes the whole installation process smooth & trouble free. We have a vast wealth of experience in the building & joinery sectors which spans over four decades. Being a family business, we understand client's needs during the whole process. Sometimes it's the small things that count like having a usable sink or fridge/freezer to use during the installation.

In the world we live in today, automation seems to be key to everything that is produced. We at Creative Cabinets try to keep production methods as traditional as possible. The nature of what we do doesn't allow mass production as every piece of furniture or kitchen unit is made as a one off, making your cabinets totally unique. All units are manufactured using traditional methods. Mortice & Tenon joints are used on all unit frames and doors and Dovetail joints can be used on drawer boxes if specified.

The Design of the layout and look of your new kitchen is probably the most important part of the whole project. A good starting point is to think about which aspects of your existing kitchen work well and which aspects don't. Start to think about the type of things that you would like in your kitchen which you don't currently have. It's difficult sometimes to think outside the box when looking at your existing kitchen, as the layout has been the same since you moved in, so it can be a good idea to sketch out the room on some graph paper to scale which gives you a blank canvas where you can see the room without the existing units.

Our workshops at Tenter Croft Mills are the heartbeat of our business. Essentially, this is where everything happens. Your kitchen units and furniture are produced here completely from scratch. Your new kitchen or cabinets begin life as stacked timber and turn into beautiful, handcrafted items which will last a life time. Each cabinet is made to specification. Nothing we make is standard, so if you have an awkward shaped room that off the peg units won't fit into, then we simply make the cabinets to fit.

This traditional style offers a simplistic style for those who like clean lines and no fuss. All units are manufactured using traditional methods. Traditional production methods are complimented by modern day enhancements such as soft close drawer runners, intergrated appliances and mood lighting. Unit frames and doors for painted finishes are made from Tulip wood (Poplar) as standard, and any hardwoods can be used for a stained or natural finish to create a natural look.
