Initially, client employed a small builder, whom failed from the outset. Neither building regulations were followed nor architectural drawings. After taking over the works, we had to take down the walls, unfortunately, and rebuild them in accordance with the plans. From that point, project went really smoothly and completed on time. Our client has an amazing eye for details, final results look amazing. Totus recently completed our ground floor extension. This is the third time we do work in the house and my only regret is not having come across Totus years ago when we bought the house.

The property is a three storey terraced house sitting in one of prime roads in the heart of Hammersmith. Totus was appointed as the main contractor to extend and renovate the property in order to meet the requirements of a growing family. The scheme comprised of a rear extension at the second floor level and erection of a two storey rear extension at ground and first floors. Totus worked closely with the clients, an architect and an interior designer to bring their ideas to life. It was a pleasure to work with our clients and creative team of Design Squared Architects on this fantastic project in Thames Ditton. Project scope - 2 storey side extension, single storey rear extension, full renovation, landscaping.

This split level apartment in highly desired street in Pimlico was purchased by our client as an investment opportunity. We stripped it down to the shell, remodelled layout and rebuilt from inside. Adding 2nd bathroom and creating a large open plan kitchen/living area on the top floor with lots of light and air will appeal to any future buyer. In order to create an open plan area and be compliant with fire safety regulations, we installed a fire curtain system above the stairs. White walls and bathrooms added space within confined areas.

This detached period property is located in one of London's prime locations - Wimbledon, SW19. The client contracted Totus with a plan to add a large new rear extension. Our team built an airy open plan kitchen/dining/living area. We also installed a brand new modern kitchen that seamlessly connects with a patio thanks to the two sets of large sliding doors. Such an easy transition from the indoors to the outdoors is perfect for entertaining on a summer's evening.

This house in Earlsfield was in need of complete renovation. Work included a rear and side extension and loft conversion. The renovation project was completed with a high-end finish to enhance the period features of the property. The kitchen was bespoke, hand assembled and painted by our kitchen specialists. The large orangery-style extension included spectacular electrically operated wooden lanterns and massive bi-fold doors. It also included water underfloor heating, as well as bespoke bedrooms and living room furniture.

This six bedroom house in Clapham, owned by young professionals, required full renovation from the basement up. Totus built a side return extension to create a larger kitchen and basement conversion to turn this five storey house into a contemporary high-tech home (including cinema room) with a high-end designer finish. The project was completed on time in five months and once we started the project, their next door neighbours decided to do a loft conversion too and both projects were completed in parallel.

This large 5 storeys Georgian property in Pimlico consists of main house and basement flat. By adding an infill extension, our client increased size of the flat to 2 bedroom, which increase its rental value, and added 2 character balconies to the main house, providing much needed light and space. We renovated the property throughout, creating an open plan living area and additional bathroom. The work was carried out well, on time and on budget - there will always be problems and changes with any job but Totus were professional and helpful throughout and we would happily recommend them.

Impressive entrance to the building is followed by a private elevator that takes you straight to the penthouse. Totus created lots of light in the property - open see through shelves and new light staircase. Updated flooring, joinery and tiling give the place an airy, almost ethereal, feel. Energy flow in the lounge takes you to the dining area and the kitchen where one of the walls is leaning, shaping an interesting perspective. Newest electronics and AV systems were fitted along with air conditioning in the whole property.

Here is a great example of an industrial style kitchen extension, designed by our client and built by Totus team. Full-width Crittall doors add a wonderful character. Internal Crittall windows add more air and light. A hand-made kitchen, together with other furniture and accessories, complete the modern edgy look. Project completed in 2016.

We increased the property from small one bedroom flat to 2 bedroom modern family home. Totus created an open plan living room with a modern kitchen and a wonderful terrace for comfortable outdoor time. There are full height internal doors with built in mirrors to visually enhance the space. To save and utilise all available space in the property, Totus installed shadow skirting and carefully designed joinery. We used acoustic, noise absorbing materials, to eliminate the city noise.

We engaged Totus for a complete renovation of our five bedroom Edwardian house and a single storey rear extension. From our initial meeting with Andrew during the proposal phase, we were impressed by his professionalism and his commitment to delivery (the only one who got us an estimate early!). That same professionalism was also what we experienced during the build process from him and his entire team. Taking on such a big renovation was new to us and we had heard many horror stories from friends as to how such projects usually run behind schedule, how hands on you need to be with the builders etc.

Project scope - rear single storey extension, loft conversion and full renovation of a detached property. Our project was to extend and remodel the ground floor of our house and enlarge and alter the attic space. We were living in the house throughout the works so it was important that the job was completed in a timely manner whilst still being done to a high standard. Andrew worked with us to manage the disruption as much as possible and was always available to offer help and advice. He explained any options to us thoroughly so we were in a good position to make decisions.

This terraced house in Fulham was fully rebuilt from inside, effectively leaving only front and side walls. Totus team extended to the property to the rear and into a loft. Wrap-around rear extension has a modern look thanks to glass walls and large windows that add a lot of light to the kitchen and the dining area. New loft, new roof, upgraded roof terrace. All new plumbing and heating, UFH, electrics, AV, joinery throughout. Excellent choice of colours and finishes by our client. Choosing Totus to effectively rebuild our terraced house in Fulham has turned out to be an excellent decision.

Client - a blue chip company, specialising in design and manufacturing of communication equipment. Project brief - strip out and full refurbishment of existing warehouse, new Kingspan roofing system, new slab with power floated concrete, M&E, all associated works.

This 200 year old cottage in the heart of Wimbledon had probably never been updated before. Some of it's "character" features were paper-thin party walls, "crawling" stairs (one had to be on all four to get to the second floor!) and other surprises discovered during the build. We stripped house to its shell, extended and rebuilt it from inside to create a modern bright family home. The project was brilliantly designed by Harrison Architects + Designers. With such a small space, main goal was to make every square inch useful for the family.

We were invited to this project by the architects, whose detailed, carefully thought-through design have transformed an outdated property into a wonderful modern home. Scope included - modern open plan kitchen extension with floating corner, front porch, renovation, bespoke joinery, rear landscaping.

Totus was appointed as the main contractor for this development project in 2015. Wide but narrow house on a large plot, located in a premium cul-de-sac in Esher, presented our client with an excellent opportunity. Project involved extending front, side and back of the house: we added a new roof structure and a third floor. A full fit out and landscaping was done outside. As a result, property nearly tripled in size and doubled in value. Since time was of the essence, as with every development project, we completed the works in 26 weeks.
