In order to deliver the best possible service to our clients we are committed to running no more than five projects simultaneously. This enables us to manage each project closely and develop and maintain positive working relationships with our clients throughout.

As a boutique construction company, we run no more than three projects simultaneously, enabling us to closely manage each one, and ensuring our finish standards are met each time. We understand the importance of communication, and maintain a high level of personal commitment to each client. We also offer a thoroughly pragmatic approach to price. We design with cost expectations in mind - you will not be led through months of design only to discover the real cost of realising your project is far beyond what was expected.

Our in-house design team work from our bright and welcoming offices at Chelsea Harbour. We regularly meet clients here to review the design of the project and utilise everything that the Design Centre has to offer. The team is led by Design Director Rosie Caley. The core of OLBC's construction division is a team of craftsmen, from bricklayers and basement underpinners to plasterers and decorators, who are all site-based wherever we may be working. Our management work between the project sites, the design studio and our training centre in Wandsworth.

OLBC have an enviable 100% record for attaining planning consents for basements throughout London. This is where our expertise in planning consultancy comes to the fore: we know what can be done and understand the art of the possible. We are contacted by clients, architects and designers to advise on or assist with basement planning consents, which increasingly require a significant amount of knowledge and expertise to deliver results. The rejection of a Construction Traffic Management Plan (CTMP) is the single largest reason for basement planning applications to be withdrawn or refused in RBKC.
