We were contracted to do a house and garage demolition in Haywards Heathg Sussex. The house was on a very large plot and was bought by a builder to build a number of houses on. The garage had an asbestos roof, so we had to follow strict safety guidelines for the removal and disposal of asbestos. We completed the job in 1 week leaving the site clear for the builders to move in.

This project involved the demolition of both a house and bungalow in Brighton, Sussex. The site was in a built up area so we had to be very careful about the installation of security fencing and the access of vehicles to the site. We also had to provide equipment to reduce any dust pollution on site. The only hazardous materials on site were two asbestos water tanks which were removed and disposed of within our strict safety guidelines.

This project consisted of the complete demolition of a manufactoring unit in St Leonards on Sea, near Hastings, Sussex. This project was more complicated as we had to remove some asbestos cement, and asbestos roofing. There was also a problem where there was a neighbours wall very close to the building we were demolishing. All of the above work was completed to time and budget. All asbestos items were carefully disposed of and the neighbours wall did not have any damage whatsoever.

This involved the demolition of a large bungalow and detached garage in Guildford Surrey. The project was very delicate as it was close to a school and adjoining houses. We had to install high hoarding boards to ensue the safety of the site and reduce any dust from the site to a minimum using water sprays.

This involved the demolition of a large 6 bedroom detached house in a built up area in Horsham. Special care had to be given to the security of the site, with an extra high security fence. Approximately 80% of the materials from the site were recycled, reducing our land fill costs and helping to make the planet greener.

This involved the complete demolition of a farm house and a number of outbuildings in Burgess Hill, Mid Sussex. Being farm buildings there were a number of asbestos roofs involved, which had to be carefully dealt with in keeping with Health and Safety Regulations. The customer wanted the waste concrete and brick materials crushed so that they could use it for hardcore for the new build on site.

This project involved the demolition of a small block of flats in Bexhill Sussex. We had to install a very high set of hoarding boards for the security of the site. We were awarded the contract to demolish a number of buildings and to remove dumped rubbish and building materials near Crawley in Sussex. As the building had been uninhabited for some time it was difficult to salvage many materials and we could only put 25% of the items in to the re-use market. The contract was completed to budget and on time.

This involved the demolition of a 4 bedroom house and a garage in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. The garage had an asbestos roof so we had to follow strict safety rules for the removal and destruction of this material. The site was left clear of materials for the builder and we recovered 75% for re-use, slightly below our target of 80%.

This job involved the demolition of a small office block in Maidstone, Kent. We had to provide a RAMS statement (Risk Analysis and Method Statement), this detailed how we would deal with risks and provided a detailed project plan for the project. The property also had some asbestos, which we also had to document how it was removed and disposed of. Security of the site was very important as we were in a built up area so we had to provide secure fencing and warning signs telling the public to keep out.
