We treat our timber with 90% creosote oil imported from Germany. Such high quality contrasts with some imported creosoted timber products where the creosote oil content can vary from 3% to 14%. At the Longleat plant the timber is impregnated with creosote at 100°C. This gives better penetration, is cleaner to handle and gives off less smell.

Our gardens have become a much more important part of our lives. And what we do in them will have a much bigger impact on how we view our own property, or how others may view us. The garden deck, with or without the ever popular pergola is now (more often than not) referred to as 'the outside room'. A garden decking area can be such a relaxing area to unwind at the end of a long day. The addition of a pergola above this can only enhance the looks and functional ability of this outside room.
