Aluminium Sashes

The Jockey Club commissioned a new grandstand at Cheltenham Racecourse, as we've undertaken a number of previous glazing projects at the racecourse and our factory is close to the site we were an obvious choice for the client to deliver this prestigious project. Aluminium Sashes provided Kawneer curtain walling to the full perimeter of this impressive building in the heart of Birmingham. The building is the first to be built on the site and the developer Goodmans plan a number of future buildings on this site.

From its purpose built headquarters based in Gloucester, the company delivers systems and services all over the UK. Our door systems compliment the curtain walling system they are glazed into or adjacent window systems they can be coupled with. Door sections sizes compliment the curtain walling or window profiles providing the end user with an aesthetically pleasing facade. Doors come in fundamental variants, thermally broken to achieve today's rigorous building regulations, or fully welded frames for heavy use automated applications. Fully rebated doors are available and tested to meet the relevant water tightness regulations.

Curtain walling can be sourced from our system suppliers in section widths of 35mm, 50mm, 60mm and 65mm. Windows can also be sourced from all of our system suppliers in varying section sizes, all with high thermal performance throughout the ranges. Doors can be supplied in a range of thermally broken swing doors, lift and slide type doors for both the commercial and residential markets. With the addition of fully automatic doors, both sliding and revolving, when the client specification requires.

Many of the manual operation types can be automated with the use of Teleflex gear (manual winding gear) or electrically with actuators connected to the BMS or simple electrical switches near the window. Our windows are manufactured at our works in Gloucester by skilled craftsmen with a wealth of knowledge in their given trade; we've been making windows for four decades and are rightly proud of the product quality we produce. Glass, insulated panels and other glazing materials can be provided in our windows, these can be externally or internally glazed, dependent upon the system selected to suit the needs of the specifier or end user.
