R & A Driveways are experts in driveway and landscaping construction. We have an extensive portfolio of turning neglected, tired driveways and patios into beautiful low maintenance additions to our customer's properties. We provide both residential and commercial services across the majority of East Anglia, including Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire. At R & A Driveways we provide the highest quality bespoke patios. As with most of our products we provide a wide range of styles, designs and colours. Patios provide a great appearance and are also virtually maintenance free. They also have advantages over other popular alternatives. Wooden decking needs to be replaced every 8 years or so, depending on weather conditions, moisture and other factors that could cause the wood to rot. Patio stones are often referred to as flags or slabs; these are concrete blocks more commonly of square or a rectangular shape.

Over the last 20-30 years block paving and block paved driveways have become a highly desirable asset to people's homes. Not only is block paving very attractive and low maintenance, but it also can add thousands to the value of your home. As well as driveways, block paving is also commonly used to create paths and patio's, which are now often included in new developments. With the increase of demand and the wide range of styles, colours and designs choosing your driveway can be a very personal and unique feature of your home.

Fence panels provide aesthetically pleasing features to your property. The fencing panels we provide are very strong and long lasting, ideal to help protect your outside space, especially with the recent weather conditions we have endured. On installing fence panels there are a number of accessories that are an integral part of the installation. Most importantly are the fence posts that help provide strength for the fence. These are mostly timber or concrete. As well as the above we also offer the options for gravel boards, clips and fast set postcrete to ensure a high quality service.

Tarmacadam and Asphalt are one of the most popular materials for driveways and pathways. These materials are highly economical for producing durable and easy to maintain driveways. Additionally, tarmacadam and asphalt drives are easy to install and relatively quick to produce. We provide both commercial and residential services for tarmacadam and asphalt installation. Installations consist of two types of services; new work and prepared work. For new work we excavate the area to the required depth, install a sub base and base underneath a binder course and surface course.

Surface water is an important issue to consider when constructing landscaping products. This is due to recent subtle changes in Britain's rules and regulations concerning the way in which we drain our land. We offer drainage solutions for new and existing products assembled by ourselves or a third party. These solutions cover both surface and sub-surface drainage. Surface Drainage - the elimination of surface water such as rain water from a driveway or pavement. Sub-Surface Drainage - includes the use of underground fittings such as pipes to direct unwanted water.
