You could be a school wanting to maximise the use of space to provide a productive and educational environment.
For many people the kitchen is the most important room in the home and they are prepared to lavish a lot of money on it. But you don't have to compromise and except the standard square kitchen units and storage cabinets that even the most expensive kitchen companies supply. With Stuart Harris you can have not only curves on the work tops but elegantly curved doors, drawers and shelves too. He designs these cabinets to be fully functional not just to look aesthetically pleasing to the eye. An example of what is possible is this fabulous sycamore oval island he designed and built with curved veneered doors, drawers and granite work top.
Whether your home is big or small there is bound to be a lot of under utilised space. And today when a home often doubles as an office well organised storage is a premium requirement. Often ready made furniture neither fits the room or completely satisfies your needs. A storage solution from Stuart Harris will help keep your life organised and be a handsome addition to your living space. The computer workstation below is a good example of a solid piece of furniture, designed to fulfill all the customer's needs and will most certainly out last the life of the computer that will sit on it.
This project was a commission to design and make new furniture for the recently restored barn at the 'Shrine of Our Lady'. Great care was taken to evoke in the furniture the open surroundings of the past history of the barn. A picture of the beautifully crafted altar made of oak. Each piece of furniture had to be a focal point in itself. The designs incorporate the character of the locality within, strong, simple lines. This and their durability means that these beautiful pieces of furniture will last and be appreciated for decades to come.

A wooden structure can be a key focal point of your garden; transforming a space into a unique and practical extension of the house. Always mindful of the environment, Stuart Harris ensures that the design, type of construction, wood and the finish of the structure is in harmony with the surroundings and its intended use. For a prestigious entrance to your driveway, court yard or garden there can be nothing better than handcrafted gates. You can see how well proportioned these gates are, with each diagonal timber chosen to produce the pleasing pattern.
All items of work are produced using locally sourced timber, or carefully procured timber from Europe, America and Africa. My own timber is air dried and seasoned outside the workshop, then acclimatized for a period in the workshop wood store. For each job, timber from the store is carefully selected and sawn to size, ready to be machined. Match this process with Stuart Harris's design flair and you have guaranteed quality furniture. Wood shavings are disposed of in an environmentally friendly way and all off-cuts are burnt to help heat the workshop.
