Shadowdog was created by artist and designer David Handford as a way to invent and make high quality furniture from humble sustainably sourced materials. All work is hand-crafted in Morecambe, Lancashire, England and built in compliance with all British standards. Shadowdog is a traditional and digital fabrication workshop, we make bespoke projects for business and private customers. Our designs are unique to ourselves combining age-old design principles and contemporary aesthetics. David has been a keen carpenter since an early age, raised in South Cumbria in Northern England, he would take inspiration from the forests and meadows around Lake Windermere.
