Founded in 1887 by Mr Edward Dewhurst, the grandfather of the present chairman and the great grandfather of the current joint managing directors, John and Paul Dewhurst. Edward Dewhurst Ltd carry out the design, site installation and commissioning of Solar PV (Photovoltaic) Systems. On the 3rd of December 2010 Edward Dewhurst Ltd were approved by the NICEIC Group as an MCS installer of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Microgeneration Systems. The award was granted to the Organization following an onsite assessment of a Solar PV installation installed by Edward Dewhurst Ltd which has been integrated into the existing roof structure of our company headquarters on Chain Caul Way Preston.
Better known for Electrical Engineering and contracting since the foundation of the company in 1887, Edward Dewhurst's ability to diversify into other fields has lead to the development of an Air Conditioning Division. Air conditioning is an ideal way of controlling the environment we live in. Suitably designed systems can heat as well as cool avoiding the need fro separate heating sources. Our capabilities range from initial site survey and design through to site installation and commissioning.
