Cavity Wall Insulation Foam is a closed cell rigid Polyurethane Foam, formulated for injection into cavity walls. Because the foam is "Closed Cell" it means we can install it in any exposure zone, even in areas at risk of flooding. In addition to this Injected Foam it is a significantly better insulant than fibre, meaning much better U-values can be achieved as well as bigger energy savings and also greater Co2 emission reductions. When injected, the foam is fluid but quickly expands and sets to completely fill the entire void within the cavity.
Starting the week off with a nice little Closed cell, class1 spray foam job in a Cider apple barn using BASF Elastospray.
Few photos from one of last week's jobs. 100mm of Isothane Duratherm. Cracking job again by Colin and James.
BASF Elastospray class1 closed cell spray foam insulation applied at 100mm to a fibre cement roof. A local gym decided to take advantage of the current situation and get their roof sprayed, this will instantly stop all condensation, which had been a problem and also do an amazing job of.
A few photos from The undercroft at Bolton bus depot. 1200m2 of Isothane Pirthane class 0 Fire rated foam and coating.
