Often, the exterior of a building has to be preserved intact whilst the interior is completely stripped of partitioning, flooring and internal walls ready for refurbishment or redevelopment.

Demolition projects undertaken include multi storey buildings, petro-chemical plants, dangerous buildings, chimneys, hospitals, factories, mills, and bridges. We undertake demolition in sensitive environments such as university campuses and hospitals as well as large scale industrial projects such as the demolition of factories and plants. Our management team works in partnership with the client in every aspect of the project, identifying potential problems and planning solutions. We provide a complete solution to clients by providing enabling works such as service disconnections and diversions, decommissioning and temporary works.

J Freeley Ltd undertakes all aspects of earthmoving and bulk excavation. Where necessary, this includes the design and installation of sheet piling and other essential load-bearing temporary support works to complete the excavations. Schemes can be planned to client construction phase requirements to provide cost effective solutions that incorporate the permanent foundation design and building process. To meet the large increase in the redevelopment of brownfield sites, J Freeley Ltd also offers a full remediation package utilising both traditional and bio-remediation methods, which are increasingly important with today's focus on sustainability.

J Freeley Ltd have the resources and experience to help clients identify and solve any asbestos related issues on demolition or decommissioning projects. Our services include carrying out Demolition/Refurbishment Asbestos Surveys, materials sampling, asbestos removal, decontamination cleans and asbestos stripping.
