Double glazing is the go-to option when refurbishing an older house with single-glazed windows. Single-glazed windows can look beautiful but when it comes to retaining heat and keeping your bills down, they just aren't very energy efficient. When you're choosing your uPVC windows, it's best to get the best rating that your budget will stretch to. The better the rating, the sooner you'll recoup your investment in reduced energy bills. Green Glaze Windows offers a huge range of windows with something for every budget.

The Flush style is by far the most popular in the UK as it is perhaps the most traditional or most common. Technical Drawings are available on request for your project. Of course if you need something different to what you see here, we can completely custom make products for you, if you can provide some photos and dimensions, we will make a technical drawing for you to amend or approve as you like.
We are now pleased to offer Triple Glazing for windows in Braintree, Halstead & Colchester. Green Glaze Windows Triple Glazing offers the very best thermal efficiency available in the marketplace, ensuring that your property is insulated to the maximum level. The construction of the sealed unit means that heat loss is reduced to a minimum, with heat intake from the sun (known as solar gain) is still permitted. Introducing a third pane of glass also makes your window more secure and harder to break.
Our Casement windows look just as good in older properties as they do in modern homes. Designed for ease of use, they are both secure and stylish. With classic lines and slim frames, our replacement casement windows are a superb addition to any home. Casement windows can be used in square and segmented bays. Signature Casement windows traditionally open out from the side, called "side hung" windows or they open from the top known as "top hung". The casement window is versatile and you can have any type of combination opening; having top and side openings enables you to either have full ventilation or partial top opening should you want to feel more secure in your home.

Deciding to invest in replacement windows for your home is a big decision. It's not just looks that count - you need windows that you can rely on to keep your home safe and secure. We've designed our replacement windows with that in mind. Double or triple glazed with durable uPVC frames, they're energy efficient, low maintenance and made to last. We've slimmed down our frames to maximise the amount of natural light entering your home and make the focus on the view from your window. If you're concerned that uPVC windows can't match the aesthetic appeal of wood-framed windows, then take a closer look.
Green Glaze Windows have brought sash windows up-to-date with our beautifully designed Sliding Sash windows. Simple to look after and rattle-free, these windows will add an elegant touch to any home. Green Glaze Windows eliminated the problem of rattling associated with traditional sash windows using cutting edge manufacturing techniques. Our UPVC sliding sash windows are constructed differently to traditional timber sash windows. Rather than using weights, pulleys and a cord to hold the sliding sashes in place, we use a sophisticated set of spring and spiral balancers.
P-shaped conservatories maximise the space available, providing you and your family with a flexible living space. The P-shaped conservatory has two distinct areas, giving you a lot of choice in how you use your space - as well as plenty of room to spread out. Whether you choose to use one area for dining, and another as playroom or a hobby room, there are plenty of options. And, the great thing is, you can change how you use the space as your needs change, or even depending on what time of year it is.
Livin Room is a new and exciting product in our conservatory range - half way between an Orangery and a traditional conservatory. LivinRoom can be fitted to any Ultraframe Classic Roof and you do not have to have full height walls; the Livinroom will sit equally as well on top of glass frames, either on a dwarf wall or floor to ceiling glass. The internal steel work ladder structure is assembled around the Ultraframe Classic roof. All electric conduits are hidden and you are left with a plastered product which can extend into the room from 300mm to 1200mm.
Combining precision engineering with cutting edge design, our Aluminium Bi-fold Doors offer a superb way to combine your indoor and outdoor living spaces. Gable Front Conservatories are becoming an increasingly popular conservatory style in the UK. The striking appearance, clean lines and array of finishing touches to the gable front such as 'star bursts' - it is no surprise. They are particularly popular with glass roofs, and the extra space created in the roof space really brings the feel of the outside into your conservatory. The higher roof especially glazed can maximise sight lines which is an important consideration if you have a beautiful view.

The Lean-to conservatory is making a massive come back in the market place. The new styling combining insulating pelmets and the use of full height walls mean you can have a glazed extension, light but incredibly warm, coupled with stylish bi-folding doors and a choice of colour. Gone is the green house - Hello Grand Design! Lean-to conservatories run in straight lines along the back of a house helping make the most of every square metre of your floor area. For something slightly different to a conventional conservatory, an orangery could provide the perfect solution. Designed to work with the original architecture of your home or building, the roof structure of an orangery is different to that of a conservatory: it's made from a glazed lantern with a section of flat roof around the perimeter. What this means is that there is less glass in the roof; it can be angled lower than a regular conservatory, to the point where it is almost flat. An Orangery is much more of a traditional build in comparison to a conservatory and normally will undergo more building regulation approval, notice to build and SAP approval.
The LivinRoof is the first roofing system designed to give you the flexibility to combine solid and glazed roofing seamlessly. It helps you extend your living space and enhance thermal performance to give you a room you can use all year round. Whether you are constructing a new home extension or replacing an old existing conservatory roof the Livin roof can give you total design flexibility and the ability to create stylish and thermally efficient rooms like no other solution on the market. The Livin Roofing System is constructed from insulated composite external panels and kingspan slab insulation, which are strong and robust yet extremely thermally efficient.
There comes a time when we start to outgrow our homes. As families get larger, the space around us slowly disappears and it almost feels like the walls begin to close in on you. When this time arrives, instead of moving, you should think about investing in a tailor-made conservatory as it will bring instant new liveable space to your home in Halstead. Green Glaze Windows in Halstead offer you a wealth of opportunity as they can be utilised in a variety of different ways. Whatever it is that you feel is lacking in your home in Halstead, a conservatory can compensate for it as it can be used as an extension of your living room, dining room, family room, kitchen or can even be transformed into your own personal office.
Is it time for you to upgrade your tired conservatory roof? If you've had your conservatory for a number of years, or inherited it when you bought your house, the likelihood is that the existing roof is glazed with polycarbonate. Polycarbonate can be quite strong and thermally efficient, but its performance can wear over time. A new, high-performance glass roof is a great choice when it comes updating your conservatory. New technology means your conservatory can become more than a 'greenhouse'. Our glass roofs are more thermally efficient, reduce glare and retain heat in winter, so you can use your conservatory throughout the year.
Excellent customer service and quality
Came out to fix a leak in our conservatory roof today at very short notice. Very friendly and efficient, would definitely recommend.
Very clean windows installation with virtually zero disturbance to interior decoration and external masonry. Highly recommend and would use again for sure, also went above and beyond in after care service when really didn’t have any responsibility to do so....Steve is a diamond and we thank him for his help.
Very disappoint with service after windows were fitted, Things have gone wrong they don't like to put things right, and don't turn up when suppose to
Just had windows installed front and back.
I am a master craftsman and have in my time installed domestic and commercial windows. Add to that also having worked as a surveyor and having to snag work on projects up to $63M for interim and final payments..........
Can't fault the quality of work demonstrated. It absolutely poured with rain early morning of the first day and I thought I would be coming home to only one window fitted. They had five done and worked through the rain.
This was the only company we waited for or wanted a quote from. They had design ideas and worked with ours as well as an eye for aesthetics and detail.
As said, can't fault the knowledge and service.
