McCarron and Company was established in 2009 by eight friends with a wealth of experience making bespoke luxury kitchens. We shared a common goal: to make the finest British furniture and to back this up with a very personal level of service. We are driven - all day, every day - by the desire to pioneer new designs and techniques, to work with new materials, to create future classics. In our decade in business as McCarron and Company we've designed and made bespoke furniture for every room of the house - Shaker-style kitchens and living spaces, classical bedrooms and dressing rooms, innovative wine cellars, contemporary media rooms - each one designed with imagination and built with professional pride in rural Wiltshire.
In the first instance, we would strongly recommend that you book a free kitchen design consultation with one of our experienced designers. There is a great benefit in involving our designers at an early stage - before you fully commit to architectural plans even - because we bring very specific and practical expertise that may impact on fundamental elements such as the positioning of windows and doors, and how to get the best out of a kitchen, dining, living space. At our first meeting we'll ask you to share your overall project vision, and we will then create a presentation including mood-boards, material samples, visuals and technical drawings.
McCarron and Company has vast experience working with and alongside design professionals. Whether we are appointed directly by an architect or we are asked by our client to work in partnership with their own design professionals, we will always bring absolute professionalism, expertise and experience, tailoring our own input to the needs of the project. We are equally happy creating entirely bespoke kitchens, wine-rooms, bedrooms, panelling and other joinery to fit in with your overall design vision, or supplying from our range if that meets your requirements.
We love traditional, classical forms and designs, and the Shaker style for kitchens is precisely that. However, the very nature of a commission to create bespoke traditional kitchens and classical furniture is that it almost invariably has to fit into an existing architectural setting. There will be existing design cues and these have to be respected. We'll accommodate your modern lifestyle just as much as your traditional tastes. We like to use subtle details to create a link between the Shaker tradition and contemporary materials and motifs.
For luxury kitchens in the South West, come and see complete McCarron & Co room-sets at our showroom in Bromham, Wiltshire, and discuss with our designers the comprehensive design, make and install service. All McCarron & Co furniture is manufactured here in Wiltshire, so while you are visiting our showroom why not allow a little more time so that you can see first-hand our craftsmen at work, creating beautiful furniture. If you're planning to work with McCarron and Company, or you haven't yet decided who is going to provide your new bespoke furniture, why not come and visit our workshop in the Wiltshire countryside, where you can witness at first-hand just how much passion, precision and thoughtful craftsmanship is involved in bespoke kitchen design and handmade furniture for the home.
Our brochure is a labour of love that honestly took us longer to produce than even the most complex piece of bespoke joinery. We do believe it's a thing of beauty, and we'd love to send you a copy - by email or in the post. It's short on words and long on photos of beautiful McCarron & Co bespoke furniture.
We pride ourselves on the versatility of our joinery and the skill of our bespoke furniture design, and we've been lucky enough to apply these to every corner of the house - wine cellars, games rooms, bars, utility rooms, entertainment centres, home offices, halls and staircases.
This is the kitchen that we featured on Friday, and you can see how light and spacious it is. It is very much a room for entertaining, and the large island works so well as an area for friends to sit around whilst the cooking is taking place. And what a fantastic array of Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances!
Hopefully we are all going to have a wonderful Easter weekend, and if the weather is as good as they say it will be then we can look forward to enjoying some time outside. This stunning kitchen certainly allows you to enjoy the outdoors with those magnificent doors opening up to create such a wonderful space.
We are delighted to have one of our projects featured in this week's @countrylifemag azine. This truly bespoke kitchen was designed for @aynhoepark and as you can see it was designed to reflect the heritage of the property but with a modern twist. Thank you to Giles Kime and the team for a wonderful.
We relish the opportunity to be creative with our designs and so working on this project to create a secret door from the bedroom to the en-suite was such fun! When the door is closed it gives the appearance of a beautiful run of wardrobes and you'd never guess what was behind one of the doors!
This beautiful home in Wiltshire has an open plan living and kitchen area, and has so much light in the space that it was a great room to introduce some rich, deep colours to contrast with some of the lighter furniture. And we always love it when the homeowners want their dog in the photo!
