We can even take a photo of your property and superimpose the product onto your window or door. Our technically advanced windows, doors and conservatories will give you many years of trouble-free, low maintenance service. Our Operation and Maintenance Manual has been designed to help you with a few simple items of regular maintenance that will help prolong the life of the product and the many components it contains. The Operation and Maintenance Manual covers a number of subjects such as cleaning windows, doors and frames as well as the fittings. General maintenance including how to deal with scratches on the glass and window frames and seal maintenance.

We want to help make the process of understanding, specifying and purchasing your new windows, doors or conservatory as painless as possible. We do this by explaining what our products do in easy to understand terms and work in conjunction with our suppliers to help make the experience fun and offering you ‘Peace of Mind'. You may well come across a number of terms during the process and these will be explained to you by one of our sales personnel. To help you along the way we have included some explanations as to what they mean and how they may help you.

Our range of doors is both comprehensive and of the very highest standards. Security is as important as the look and a number of our doors can be built to be certified with "Secure by Design" standards. This insurance underwrites the installing contractor's guarantee, which is usually for defective workmanship and faulty materials. If we as a contractor cease to trade the insurance will take the place of our guarantee for the remaining term of cover. Why is Insurance Required? A contractor will show confidence in his workmanship by giving written guarantees ranging between 12 months and 10 years for the majority of home improvement contracts. If a fault arises during the guarantee period the contractor would normally call to fix the problem at no charge.

The majority of our windows are A-rated for energy efficiency. In the UK, homes create a quarter of all CO2 emissions. Our windows and doors will help to eliminate energy loss from your home as the units offer up to 3 times more thermal insulation than standard double glazing are are 20% better than Low-E thermally insulating glass. The outer pane allows optimal amounts of the suns energy through the glass into the room allowing the benefit of free solar heating. The inner pane used an advanced glass coating technology which reflects the heat from inside the room, back into the room.

Advanced thermal properties means that all standard windows can achieve an A Rating by the BFRC WER Rating system andthe new A+ certificate by using the highest energy efficient glassand additional PVCu frame elements. These ratings are achieved without the use of expensive thermal inserts. This is why Heathfield Windows use PlatinumNRG.
