All electrical systems should be inspected and tested periodically to safeguard your investment. Defects causing reduced output in one or two strings of a solar PV system could go undetected for a long period of time, finally manifesting as a marked deterioration in output and income loss. Faults can also pose a fire or shock risk. To supplement periodic inspection and testing, it is advisable to install an effective remote monitoring and fault reporting system for any electrical system, in particular for solar, battery storage and lighting control systems.

Ideally the business should own the freehold of their premises, or have a long-lease over the property. In the right business, the system will more than pay for itself, should be financable if necessary and will significantly improve your company's impact on the environment. Rooftop solar panels usually cost between 650 and 1200 per kWp installed, depending on roof access costs, covering and pitch.

All electrical systems should be inspected and tested periodically, and solar PV and battery storage systems are no different. As a minimum we recommend testing and inspection should be undertaken once every two years by a qualified electrician, trained in the relevant technology. We offer a solar panel service on a one-off basis, or as part of a more comprehensive package with on-going support. Our prices start from 165 inc. VAT for a single inverter, single phase system up to 10kWp. On a sloping array panels will be cleaned by the rain as the glass on the panels is self-cleaning.
The benefits of switching your lighting to LEDs are numerous: energy savings of up to 90%, higher quality light, greater control and up to 16 times the lifespan of halogen bulbs. The lighting as a service (LaaS) fee varies depending on the cost of the project. For example, if we upgraded an underground carpark where the old lighting was operating 24/7 with efficient LED lighting, the savings generated would be significant. In a recent install, a customer saved just over 20k per year by upgrading to LED lighting.
