Busy Baskets Nursery was started over 25 years ago by Susie Bond and over the years built up an excellent reputation for supplying quality plants and hanging baskets and patio containers made up to customer requests and for 'off the shelf' purchase. We took over the Nursery in November 2015 and so are now in the second season under new management. We aren't changing much of what the Nursery has been doing for the last 25 years but we will try to add new ideas and maybe venture into some new areas.
As i'm sure many of you are already aware the RHS Chelsea Flower Show has returned for another year, undoubtedly one of the highlights of the gardener's calendar year. Planning you garden is a great activity for those days when the weather is just too bad to venture outdoors. Tuck yourself up by the fire and sketch out your ideas for areas of the garden you'd like to change.
Choose from a selection of ready filled planters or take advantage of our planting service and bring along your own which we can plant for you. Containers planted up with a selection of foliage and flowers will brighten up a patio or balcony, giving colour and interest over the cold season.
Planters will bring a splash of colour to that drab corner of the garden or will create beautiful blooms on the patio. Choose from a selection of ready filled planters for the summer which we will have on display. If you prefer to bring your own we can plant these for you to give your garden an abundance of summer colour to see you through until the autumn.

With the transition from summer to autumn, we thought it would be great to share some recent pictures of the nursery. There is something for everyone in these shots. Inside the main house and outside the plants are looking colourful and amazing!
We thought that we should have a little bit of fun with this. The photo shows how a delivery of two boxes of plants was left by a courier company at the nursery recently. As you can see the boxes were not left in the correct position!
