Our craftsmen create bespoke timber windows and doors in the Highlands of Scotland, using naturally strong and beautifully grained luxury timber. We are a family run business that can trace its roots back to the early 1960s when Treecraft was first established in Doncaster. In the early 80s Treecraft moved to Dornoch where we have been producing bespoke timber windows and doors for over 30 years. Our products have been tried and tested in the remotest parts of Scotland. We know wood. We know how to shape, mould and join nature's product into a thing of beauty, weatherproof and durable, adding style and warmth to any design.

We manufacture Patio Doorsets using Sigenia Lift and Slide Patio Doorgear. They therefore arrive on site fully assembled, ready to fit into the aperture. Like all our windows and doors, we don't have any set sizes - they are made to the width and height required on site. There are a variety of configurations possible, though the most common is one fixed and one sliding panel. A contemporary version of the traditional British window. Modern design and fittings, including stainless steel friction hinges instead of butt hinges, mean there is no requirement for a stay to hold the sash open. All our designs can be configured the way you want, we can hang windows from the top or either side. We can design windows to comply with fire escape requirements and incorporate openings up to 1200mm square. These can also be built into larger window sets including areas of fixed glazing.
