With over 15 years experience in the building industry, James first started out as a carpentry apprentice working on building sites. After completing his apprenticeship, he worked for a Norfolk based firm specialising in barn conversions. During this time, James gained a Level 3 NVQ in Carpentry & Joinery, developing his skills working alongside different trades on the barn conversions alongside Richard, a fellow carpenter. Having worked together for a number of years, James and Richard established JR Construction; working weekends and nights together around the normal day job, and generating their own client base.
JR Construction areproud to offer the following construction services across Norfolk and Suffolk. During the planning stages, we can guide you and work with architects, structural engineers and building control. From there, our team steps in to start your project starting with clearing the site and digging your foundations, lay the bricks and and install the roofing. We carry on right through to the plastering, plumbing and electrics and can even add the final touches including the floor, kitchens, bathrooms and lighting.
Superb from start to finish, very professional throughout. The build was completed in the timescale I had expected and on budget. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
James and Richard did a wonderful job on our kitchen knock through/ conversion/ refit.going above and beyond our original expectations.
