Andy Ryall moved out of London in 2005, where he ran his successful Sash Window and Door Company from premises on Liverpool Road in Islington. Finding the stress of travelling across the city both grinding and relentless and wanting to take things easier, he found premises in Norwich and embarked on offering to Norwich customers the same levels of quality service of sash windows and doors that he had been offering Londoners for almost two decades. For Andy, the move worked well and the business is well on the road to being similarly established in the Norwich area.
If you can feel cold air coming in around your windows in your home it means warm air is escaping and cold air is coming in, therefore your heating is struggling to reheat cold air. If you can hear your windows rattling, this also means that warm air is escaping, and/or cold air is coming in through gaps around the window. Our draught proofing system is virtually invisible, but very effective. By sealing the gaps that surround a window almost all cold air and draughts can be removed. External doors can also be a problem and are dealt with in very much the same way with our 'All Round Brush System'.

A solution for treatment of timber decay, open joints and regaining the good working order of your windows. Few timber windows, even those exposed to the weather, are beyond repair. According to English Heritage, only 5% of timber in windows currently being replaced, is affected by decay. This means that most windows can be renovated to good working condition and retained for many more years. This includes repairs to a Venetian sash window being carried out where the bottom of the frame was re-built with a new hardwood cill prior to servicing and draught proofing.
