We have been designing and installing Domestic and Commercial Renewable Energy systems throughout the South West since 2009. We pride ourselves on our honesty and will only install quality parts from manufactures that we trust. We also carry our O&M services on a number of large scale Solar Farms and are HV authorised. We are MCS accredited installers for all the technologies we install and OLEV authorised installers for Pod Point Electric Vehicle charging points. We are also Tesla Installer Partners for the Tesla Powerwall Battery Storage System which is the most popular battery storage system on the market, aimed at the domestic market.

Commercial properties are ideally suited for large scale PV, in most cases the main draw on power comes in the daytime when your system will be generating. With the addition of a battery storage system you could really reduce the running costs for your business. Each system is designed individually for your project and we always give you a comprehensive quotation after conducting a site survey. When we put in a price everything is included, there will be no hidden extras like scaffolding, it is all in the price and listed so you know what you are paying for.

Heat pumps are the most energy efficient way of producing heat. They take energy from the air, the ground or water, and condense it until it reaches a useable level which is then used to heat your home or water. Heat pumps require electricity to power the compressor so the more heat required the more energy they use. For this reason they are best used in conjunction with underfloor heating or low temperature radiators. However, for every 1kw of power used, a heat pump will produce 3-4kw of heat.

We install a wide range of Solar PV Panels and treat each project individually. We work with homeowners and architects alike to come up with the best solution for each property. Our design service and site surveys are free of charge. PV panels come in a variety of shapes and sizes and can be mounted on the ground, on top of a roof, integrated into the roof or can even be used as the roof covering. We have experience using many different mounting systems and have a solution for any structure. We can now as standard install a system which will use any excess Electricity you generate to heat your water, using your existing Immersion switch.

We have engineers who spend all day designing Renewable systems and work out how best to work out the best solution for each project and to suit the client. Having spent many years as an Electrical Installer our Managing Director, Derrick McCormick got the Renewable Energy bug when he was tasked with the monumental task of implementing Energy Saving measures in a very large 5* Hotel in London. Derrick then moved to Devon and whilst running a busy Electrical company started researching Renewable Energy, after 2 years research and training, set up Sundial Solar Solutions in 2009. Derrick's main goal is to make Renewable Energy a "True Alternative" to fossil fuels by making it affordable and straight forward.

Sundial Solar Solutions aim is to offer our clients a full service. Right from the first time we meet our clients we want to take care of the entire project from the start. We use all our own staff and from our base in West Devon we are perfectly placed to cover Devon, Cornwall, Wiltshire, Somerset and South Wales. We design each project specifically for each project and the client can have as little or as much input as they wish.
