To get ‘the deal' Mr Plumber will often offer you only the cheapest boiler he can source with the cheapest controls. A lot of plumbers are unaware of the differences that boilers offer. He will probably be very punctual, very clean & tidy in his work ethics, produce amazingly tidy pipework, leave your house cleaner than when he arrived and not drop any last minute extras on you, but you will still only own the cheapest boiler on the market. This might not be what you want. My policy is to make sure you can make your own informed & educated choice.
