Welcome to Hoddam Contracting Co. Ltd a family firm who have been supplying concrete products and associated items for over 50 years to customers in Scotland, Cumbria and Northern England. Established in 1958, Hoddam Contracting Co. Ltd (locally known as Hoddacrete) is a major building materials supplier and one of the longest serving concrete specialist in the area. Building on, and taking advantage of our stellar reputation, we are suppliers of a wide range of quarry materials concrete products and services to the building, industrial, agricultural and domestic markets, including quality assured ready-mixed concrete.

Hoddam Contracting Co. Ltd operate two sand and gravel quarries in South of Scotland. Our head office is at Ecclefechan where we manufacture ready-mixed concrete, concrete blocks and all of the other concrete products on offer. Kilblane Quarry is based at Locharbriggs, on the outskirts of Dumfries. Kilblane Quarry was granted a licence in 1948 - with sand and gravel extracted to this day. Also manufactured at Kilblane is ready-mixed concrete. Broom Quarry is a sand and gravel operation located near Powfoot, Annan and was purchased by the company in the 1990s.

Hoddam Contracting Co. Ltd have been supplying high quality ready-mixed concrete (known locally as 'Hoddacrete') throughout south-west Scotland and Cumbria for over 50 years. Hoddacrete ready-mixed concrete is made using sand and gravel from our quarries and is mixed on site from our batching plants at Kilblane or Ecclefechan. These include precise mixtures and reduced work-site congestion. A quality concrete is delivered, there is no need to store aggregates, sand, cement or admixtures and there is no need to buy or hire concrete mixing equipment.

Hoddam Contracting Company LTD's utility range of British Standard Concrete Paving Flags offer excellent slip resistance, durability, strength and size that is manufactured to BS EN 1339:2003 standards. They offer the end user a viable economic option for their chosen paving project, however when the customer choses to buy said paving flags then they should be aware that the intention of the products should be used for garden building bases, pathways, pavements and working areas of your garden.
