Everchanging Garden Design Hertfordshire is owned and run by award winning garden designer Tim Jennings. Tim brings to his clients over 18 years of experience in designing gardens in Hertfordshire, North London, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and across Europe. His award winning garden design has led to Tim broadcasting on both the BBC and ITV as a garden designer, landscape gardener and advisor. Tim Jennings is our award winning garden designer and owner of Everchanging Garden Design Hertfordshire. Tim plays a key role in your garden design project from start to completion. This includes the garden design, project management and landscaping of your new garden, with Tim's great team of highly experienced landscape gardeners. Tim's designs draw on a wide range of influences, not least Contemporary and Classical architecture, and interior design, backed up with years of hands on experience.

The client had recently built an extension to there property and had the interior redesigned. We wanted to create a seamless flow from the house to the exterior, while also creating different subtle level changes to address the slope that currently made the garden pretty unusable in any practical way. The materials chosen were Porcelain paving, western red cedar decking and retaining walls rendered with an exterior stucco plaster. The finished effect is a subtle, classic timeless feel with an easy flow to each area encompassing socializing and eating with friends and family, relaxation and play.

This Hertfordshire garden design was a lovely project to work on, due in no small part to the fantastic clients, who had some great ideas and a wonderful enthusiasm to match. We went for a very light and open design, with the aim of making the garden appear much larger and relaxing, which is what we achieved. We also designed and built a garden room for this project. A place where the client could sit and relax, chat with friends or read a book, away from the sun in this South facing garden.

We took what was an asbestos tiled and felt covered unusable area and transformed it into a crisp, clean and simple but effective outdoor living space that allowed our client to have the outdoor life that she had been craving in this busy urban part of London.
