We offer a complete curtain service. We can come to your home, take down, take away to be cleaned and pressed and brought back and re-hung. If you are happy to take them down and rehang them we can offer you a free collection and delivery service. Or simply drop by the shop to drop off and collect when it suits you. As well as cleaning we can repair or alter your curtains. If part of the hem has fallen down we can take care of that too. If you have bought new curtains or moved house we can shorten or alter the width to fit your window.
Lots of people don't have the time or inclination for ironing! Busy lives and never ending ironing makes the task laborious. Whether its just your favourite, really difficult to iron shirt or your families entire laundry basket we can give you an affordable, friendly, convenient and efficient service. Simply drop your ironing off at The Ironing Shop between 8am and 4pm weekdays, closed weekends. Alternatively we offer a FREE collection and delivery service up to 9pm weekdays. At The Ironing Shop we believe Dry Cleaning an item to make them look their best, which takes time and skill. Each item is professionally cleaned in accordance to the manufactures care label. Stain removal takes experience and knowledge to make sure it is safely treated without any determent to the fabrics. We prefer to do comprehensive and thorough process which can take time, most items are ready within 2-3 days. An express service is available for times when you need them quickly. Please note that we cannot always remove a stain, especially if you do not allow us the time to work on it.
