Our years of experience at in-house design will also enable us to help you select the right poles or tracks as well as trims, pelmets and fittings to fully dress your windows. We are also able to supply wooden blinds if you prefer a fabric-free look. To ensure that you get exactly the look you want, in-house design will also provide a professional installation, hanging and finishing service.

We have over 15 years experience in this aspect of interior design and are happy to guide you through the process to inspire you with fresh ideas and fabrics that will give the furniture you know and love a new look.or to provide a perfectly rejuvenated up-cycled piece that will complement the look of your home or space.

Our Portobello shop is a wee treasure trove of fabrics, furnishings and finishing touches. The shelves and rails are laden with sample books to help you find the right fabrics for your curtains and blinds and we have a selection of poles and tracks for you to choose from. We also stock lights and shades, cushions, throws, a variety of gorgeous original and up-cycled clocks, artisan porcelain knobs and hooks, mirrors and a range of gifts and cards. At in-house design, we locate and purchase furniture and revamp and revitalise with any repairs required. Although we always have some up-cycled furniture in the shop, we store and refurbish at a private workshop on the edge of the city so if you are interested in what we do and would like to see the furniture currently on sale, please see our in the shop/furniture section. We also offer a sourcing service to find specific items of furniture for you if you have something in mind. And if you would like to take on an up-cycling project yourself, we always have some unrestored items in the workshop and have Frenchic furniture paints for sale at the shop.
