HWL is a leading manufacturer of windows and doors, specialising in the fabrication of the Residence Collection. Additionally, we can supply Residence unglazed - made possible through our pioneering application of Timberweld welding technologies. Allowing us to deliver a traditional 90° butt-weld inside and out, creating an authentic timber joint but in a far stronger, welded window. This eliminates the requirement to glass bond the frame, simplifying and lowering the cost of installation and remedial work without compromising on strength or performance.

Price point is scalable from our standard energy efficient uPVC offering from Kmmerling, to our timber alternative range from the Residence Collection. This includes the premium Residence 9 flush and highly flexible R7 flush casements as well as the contemporary R2 system. Our composite door range is built around a cutting-edge slab. This features an industry leading 4mm impact resistant fibreglass skin and a high-density polyurethane foam core. These combine to deliver the highest levels of thermal efficiency with U-values of between 0.9 and 1.3 W/m2K dependent on glazing. It also features a highly innovative Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL) sub-frame, further enhancing strength and security. The TriSYS three-piece dry glaze frame system, which eliminates screw hole plugs and can easily be re-glazed if the glass is damaged.
Manufactured in Kmmerling's PremiLine PRO system, the new offer from HWL achieves PAS24 without the use of interlocking bolts, leaving sightlines uninterrupted. They are available with lead times of just 5 working days in white and 10 working days for colour. The PAS24/Part Q approved door is fabricated from Kmmerling PremiLine PRO and is available from HWL Trade Frames in 2, 3 or 4 panel openings. The hardware is from Fullex, including the interlock mechanism, is guaranteed for 10-years. The HWL patio is also supplied with a Kinetica 3*** BSI Kitemarked TS007 cylinder.
Alitherm 600 from Smart combines slim sightlines with the latest innovation in polyamide thermal breaking technologies in a residential and light commercial aluminium window, which is proven to perform. With a choice of either 70mm or 53mm frame depth this includes a WER B Rating and u-values as low as 1.3W/m2K. Available in ovolo, chamfered or square detailing and dual colour options, Alitherm 600 offers a high degree of design flexibility replicating the subtleties of traditional casement windows to statement contemporary installations.
