Our multi-trade Property Maintenance and Repairs team provide a one-stop service for Joinery, Plumbing, Painting & Decorating, Building and Electrical works. The team carry out both planned and reactive maintenance supported by our 24/7 in-house helpdesk. We carry out more than 50,000 repairs each year, so we have the right combination of technical expertise and knowledge to ensure we get it right first time, every time. Our team of Certificated Surveyors in Remedial Treatment (CSRT) can identify the precise cause (which is not always immediately clear) and our specialist personnel are able to deal with the problem and provide a long-term solution. We have developed an exceptional range of skills in the complex and often delicate work of eradicating rot in older buildings. Identifying and resolving issues caused by dampness such as mould and fungal decay (wet rot and dry rot). We can also deal with the root cause, such as condensation and poor ventilation.

Our refurbishment division covers every aspect of refurbishment for all types of properties including Social Housing, Student Accommodation, Government Buildings, Office, Retail, leisure, Industrial, Healthcare, Education and Residential. CGC can work with your vision for your property - from bathroom renovations to kitchen installations, painting and decorating, plumbing and heating, plastering and electrical. We handle maintenance work for local authorities and private businesses, identifying issues and repairing them before they become major problems. Using traditional materials, CGC carries out repairs to listed buildings in sympathy with the original construction. For Renfrewshire Council, we have repaired and improved access decks, flat roofs and drying areas above retail premises at five different locations. Additional work included renewing metal railings, replacing gutters and downpipes, and redecoration.
