BAR Preservation are structural repair and preservation specialists providing surveys and work for both domestic and commercial clients throughout Manchester and the Northwest. Directors and employees of BAR Preservation have been offering their expertise in damp proofing, timber preservation and structural repairs since 1994. We are full members of the Property Care Association (PCA) and all of our Surveyors and Technicians are fully trained and qualified in their specialist fields.

All of our technicians have formal NVQ qualifications in their specialist fields and hold CSCS cards. All our Surveyors are formally qualified in the identification of dampness, timber infestation and decay along with other individual qualifications such as degree qualifications. Our most recent Surveyor, Mr John Longdin, achieved the PCA 'Student Of The Year' accolade in 2010' for achieving the highest marks of any delegate during that year. Our wide experience in repairing structural defects extends to all types of property. Our service includes structural strapping, roof triangulation and lateral restraint anchors, masonry reinforcement and remedial lintel repair.
