All members of Trusted Trades Scotland must satisfy the vetting criteria before we even consider them for membership. They must provide documentation that shows they are fully qualified and accredited to carry out the work our users require. They must also provide reviews from previous customers and we continuously monitor them while they are members of our service. This service is completely free to any homeowner in Scotland that is looking to make improvements to their property. It's very easy to use, simply decide on the home improvement service you require (e.g double glazing installer or a kitchen designer) then simply complete our "Arrange A Quote" form.
Where required by law we will ask all of our members to provide evidence that they hold the necessary accreditation's and qualifications required to carry out any of the work they are hired to do. Any trades person or home improvement provider you deal with will be able to show you this material on request. We continuously monitor all of our home improvement providers. As well as being fully qualified to carry out the work, our members must provide 5 genuine references. We contact these references to check they are authentic and correct.
