There is a standard charge of 50 for the briefing, which is refunded if a design is subsequently commissioned. Garden survey to measure size, levels and the location of visible objects, such as manhole covers and overhead lines. For large, multi-level sites, I will recommend a professional land surveyor. I will also assess the site, making a note of existing plants and materials, views you want to see or hide, the direction of the prevailing wind and sun/shade areas. I will ask you to provide me with information you may have already, such as house plans, the location of underground services and planning restrictions.

Tracy really listened to what we wanted to use our garden for and came up with a design that nailed it! Her flexible pricing structure meant we just paid for the expertise we needed and she comes with a great database of reliable contractors to do the work. She also recycled as much of the old Garden materials as possible which was really important to me. We are delighted with our new outdoor space and can't wait for decent weather to start using it!

What's new?

Wishing everyone well in these stressful times. Design work continues here in the home office with a few sanity breaks out in the garden.
