I formed Cast Contracting Ltd in 1997. I had previously been a plumber and after the 1990 recession found myself with very little work. I had gone back to working for my father, sub-contracting to Thames Water, and mainly working within the reservoir improvement side of Thames Water. It was here that I first came into contact with waterproofing and waterproofing products. As CCL grew, it became clear that to continue to offer the level of service required in this specialist industry, I would require a team around me that I could trust.
Cast Contracting Ltd is a vibrant business with strong family values at its' core. Having traded for nearly 20 years within a high risk market, the company has built up a proven track record of providing waterproofing and tanking solutions for domestic and commercial construction and housebuilding projects. A plumber by trade, John Cast established Cast Contracting Ltd in 1997, after his experience within the plumbing industry led him to cross paths with waterproofing manufacturer RIW. The relationship with RIW grew and John set up on his own, taking on larger and larger tanking and waterproofing projects, many of which used products from the RIW portfolio.
