Strain Engineering was formed in 1988 and immediately identified a service requirement in the market to the extractive & associated industries. We focused on providing plant manufacture and installation within the quarrying, sand & gravel, readymix and coated stone industry throughout Ireland and the United Kingdom. Many of our installations are proof of the company's ability and standard of workmanship.

Due to the increasing demand and a growing project portfolio in the UK markets, Strain Engineering & Co Ltd expanded its manufacturing capabilities, purchasing a manufacturing facility based in the West Midlands. The facility was home to a well-established specialist fabrication company supplying the tunneling, water and construction industries. We are a major supplier of Steel Jacking Collars to the concrete pipe industry to enable the manufacture of steel band jacking pipes.
