Arthur had five sons, Arthur, Cecil, Sidney, Allan and Ernest all of whom came into the business. With the influx of Italian immigrants into Leeds at the turn of the 19th century an expansion into terrazzo flooring took place and the company extended its activities into marble granite and stonework in the early 1930's, by the mid 1930's Andrews was one of the largest companies of it's kind in Britain. Founded in a period regarded as the high point of the ceramic trade in the United Kingdom the company has been adding to its vast stove of skill and expertise continuously and this, together with the "in house" technical facilities it is able to make available to its clients make it one of the leading companies in its field.

Our manufacturing facility is equipped with the most up to date machinery including three automatic Terzago saws, water jet CNC machines and an automated polishing line. As marble and granite is worked from slab form in our own factory, our highly skilled craftsmen are able to offer a bespoke, efficient service. Our Natural Stone specialists are able to advise on the suitability of the various types of stone flooring, wall tiles, and granite worktops along with all aspects of the design and fixing.

At A. Andrews & Sons we have a ceramic tiling department that has the capability to manage projects as large as Farnell's Jaguar Land Rover dealership, in Leeds, and the refurbishment of Westfield London's White City shopping centre right through to projects as small as domestic kitchens and bathrooms. We have a highly skilled directly employed ceramic tiling workforce and have completed work on some of the country's most prestigious buildings. In addition to ceramic tiling we regularly fix limestone, granite, marble and travertine and mosaics.

Our Leeds & Glasgow showrooms have a very extensive range of tiles that are sourced from various parts of the world. With many varieties of ceramic and porcelain tiles available in all sorts of shapes and sizes ranging from 150x75mm to as big as 1800x800mm. We also have a very diverse selection with all sorts of styles to peak your interest; whether it would be a stone effect tile to go with a contemporary kitchen or a small format tile to go with a rustic bathroom setting.
