Installing Cavity wall insulation into the walls of your home, you will save up to 30% on your heating bills, improve your home comfort, add value to your property and can payback your investment in around 3 years. Department of Environment figures show that an un-insulated house loses heat in the proportions shown. As you can see, the greatest amount 35% is lost through the walls with a further 25% through your loft. By insulating your property correctly, you can make a significant contribution to the reduction of fossil fuel consumption -helping to improve the environment for you and for generations to come.
We work extensively with home owners and Housing associations to secure utility funded schemes. This means in most cases, our clients benefit from subsidised installations, and in some cases, free of charge. We have a passion and commitment to quality, safety and care. Keeping things simple like recruiting and employing local labour, supervision and management and striving for the continual delivery of service excellence. Insulation Solutions Scotland Ltd aims to be at the forefront of commercial and domestic energy saving initiatives, supporting our vision of working towards a greener world by improving energy efficiency, reducing carbon emissions and lowering energy costs for businesses, organisations and householders.
We will determine the current depth of your loft insulation to ascertain whether you require a 'top up' or a 'full loft installation', in order to do this we will need to have access to your loft area. We will qualify any tanks and pipes that need Insulating, and any walk ways required to gain access to any live tanks or boilers. We also fit easy vents where required to the loft to allow ventilation in the loft space. Loft insulation is fitted in-between your ceiling joists and then cross laid to bring your insulation up to the recommended depth.
Insulation Solutions Scotland Ltd work with several External Wall System manufacturers to ensure we provide the right system for your needs. The Process starts with a full survey of your property to ensure it is suitable, and select the appropriate system for your requirements. External wall insulation involves fixing a layer of insulation material to the wall, then covering it with a reinforcement and a special type of render. The finish is usually a textured render, pebble-dash or sometimes a brick slip or a brick effect render finish could be used.
