Beginning life as a nursery growing tomatoes after the Second World War, Torwood Garden Centre has been in the Stevenson family since 1942. Now managed by the third and fourth generations of the family, the garden centre continues to go from strength to strength. We stock everything you need for your garden as well as a great range of gifts, homewares, furniture and clothing. Our recently expanded food hall is also the perfect place to pick up a treat, stocked with delicious food from local suppliers including award winning gluten free products.

We introduced Vitavia Greenhouses for 2019 and they were a great success with our customers. We have added Elite Greenhouses to our range with three Elite models on display in addition to our five Vitavia models. We can source any greenhouse from either range so there are literally hundreds of options available. All our greenhouses are perfect for the keen gardener or for those wishing to create some extra space to sit during the warmer weather.
Great place to come to staff are very very friendly and family orientated as well, definitely worth a visit everytime, a great selection of plants, garden ornaments ect and cafe has great food too.
The cafe make this place, they serve fabulous home made food with the cheeriest smiles, n nil is too much effort for them. I love meeting pals there, or just tootling along for a cuppa myself. The Best best savoury cheese baguettes! Plenty stuff to browse beside garden orientated goods, But to be honest. I go for the cafe alone, and it's brill staff. 23/10.!
Mum and myself popped in for a couple of items and lunch. staff very good, very chatty and very attentive. Cant do enough for you. Food is always excellent. We had been to a well known supermarket caf a few weeks before this and was totally shocked as to how they had gone downhill in the staff manners and cleanliness, needless to say we have given it 3 goes now and we will not be back. Blossoms caf at Torwood Garden centre is just fabulous, we will always stop for lunch here if we are through in Falkirk area. I am looking forward to bringing my husband one day as he loves Apple Pie and Torwood have the biggest apple pie slices I have ever seen! Weldone to all the staff at Torwood. Highly recommend for lunch!
