The Leijser House, one of our specially built houses was featured in Channel 4's Grand Designs programme. It was also the runner-up in The Best New Build Category of the Grand Design awards. The house is split into 2 halves. There is a sound-proof playroom for the Leijsers' two sons, and a guest bedroom on the solid concrete base level. There are 3 other bedrooms and a stunning open plan living space on the timber framed upper level. The Studio Pavilion is a site where once a Glasgow City Council depot operated.

The workshop is full steam ahead on the run up to Christmas - David's windows and doors for a Bearsden project, Sally and Simons storm door and entrance set, John and Sally's windows and Bruce and Christina's new entrance door - all at various stages of completion and ready for delivery / fitting next week. The 1st December and all around, the advent calendars are being put up on walls - no different on our job in Jordanhill. What is special is the very specific calendar that the girls put up for us. Brilliant! Lewis especially could have modelled for his - even the woolly hat is the same colour
Things really pressing on nicely for Steven and Gillian and after a few delays the triple glazed door sets and windows are in, Scott Holland is working the usual magic on the roof and there must now be a national shortage of insulation - seems we've used rather a lot!
It's been a while, especially since a certain pandemic kinda interrupted progress - but at last we have been able to handover the keys to Sammy's new house in Milngavie. We are delighted with the results and wish Sammy all the very best in her new home. Thanks to all involved - it's been a great.
