An off-grid solar PV system is a lot more complex than a standard grid connected system and requires a great deal of expertise and experience to design and install a system which will suit your needs exactly. An off-grid system also comprises of many more components than a grid connected system but in essence you are installing a standard grid connected solar pv system then adding a battery inverter and a bank of batteries, the battery inverter will provide grid conditions to your solar inverter and also store any excess electricity from your panels in your battery bank.
We work alongside all manufacturers of solar equipment meaning if your panels or inverters are faulty and need replaced, as long as the equipment is still under manufacturer's warranty, we can source a warranty replacement from the manufacturer at no cost to you. The most popular upgrade to any solar panel system is an immersion heater controller, closely followed by monitoring systems to keep an eye on the performance of your solar panel system remotely and quickly identify any faults.
Excellent service from start to finish! David called out to my house on Wednesday to discuss the system and it was installed the following Monday. I couldn't be happier with it. The panels look good and are producing energy and the installation was beyond professional. I would definitely recommend Solarfix to anyone thinking of going green.
Had the guys out to install yesterday. Down to earth guys who had completed the installation in the timeframe given with honestly ZERO mess. We have the 4kw system and right now it's creating 3.5kw power, there is a light haze. The downside to creating so much is that I can't use it all, even with the iboost installed and a washing machine on. Yes ok there are going to be days when it's doing nothing but right now I'm powering the neighbors houses as well. The iboost is really a no brainer! From first contact through FB to the stupid questions that followed, down to the hovering up after the installation, I honestly couldn't have asked for more.
