Damp Proofing Plastering Services
There are several common damp problems for which I provide solutions in Nottingham and Derby. This occurs when your damp proof course breaks down, allowing water present in the ground to rise into the brickwork and internal plaster of your home. This water contains hygroscopic ground salt (chlorides and nitrates) and will contaminate the plaster. These nitrates absorb moisture from the atmosphere, increasing the amount of water in the wall. This high humidity is normally due to replacement windows and doors, blocked off fire places and blocked off chimneys, extra insulation in walls and loft spaces, new boilers and generally not airing the property whilst cooking, bathing, showering or having wet laundry in the home.

Jamie and his team were brilliant. They were friendly and accommodating. When Jamie surveyed he explained everything clearly and his detailed written quote followed shortly. They completed the damp proofing, tanking and re-plastering quickly and efficiently at a time to suit me and the place was left immaculate. I would definitely recommend Stay Warm and Dry.

I called Stay Warm this afternoon to see if they had any availability for a wood worm report, I needed it quick! They went to the property in question and sent over the report to me the same day! I was very impressed, their customer service is excellent, they were responsive to my queries. I can definitely recommend them.

Highly recommended, Originally recommended by a family member. We had damp proofing done with the permission of our Landlord first. Friendly and hardworking team. Job was completed within the time quoted and to a high standard. Good value for money.
